At Nex Gen Fire Protection, safety isn’t just a requirement — it’s a core value that guides every job we take on. Today, our field team participated in comprehensive lift safety training, reinforcing the skills and awareness needed to work safely and efficiently on aerial lifts and scissor lifts.

Lift equipment is essential in the fire protection industry, especially when servicing high‑reach sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, clean agent systems, and other elevated components. With that responsibility comes the need for continuous training to ensure every technician operates with confidence and caution.
What the Training Covered
Our team reviewed critical topics that directly impact jobsite safety and performance, including:
• Proper pre‑use inspections
• Safe operation of scissor lifts and boom lifts
• Fall protection requirements and harness use
• Load limits and stability awareness
• Navigating tight or active work areas
• Emergency procedures and equipment shutdown
This hands‑on training ensures our technicians stay current with OSHA standards and industry best practices, especially during busy seasons when lift use is frequent.

Why Lift Safety Matters
Working at height introduces risks that can be avoided with the right knowledge and habits. Lift safety training helps prevent:
• Falls and tip‑overs
• Equipment damage
• Jobsite hazards involving other trades
• Delays caused by unsafe conditions
More importantly, it protects the people who make our work possible. When our technicians are trained, prepared, and confident, they can focus on delivering high‑quality fire protection services without compromising safety.

Our Commitment to Continuous Improvement
Investing in ongoing training is part of our promise to customers and partners. Whether we’re inspecting emergency lights, servicing suppression systems, or installing new equipment, our team shows up ready to work safely, professionally, and efficiently.
We would like to thank Casey Holmes and the Sunbelt Rentals team for providing the training!
Today’s lift safety training is another step in strengthening that commitment — and we’re proud of the team for always striving to improve.
